I was on the City Tech ACF Team (Big Apple Chapter), and helped compete in the Salon of Culinary Arts for the Grand Prize of the
Buffet, the Marc Sarrazin Trophy.
I have volunteered at the James Beard House as a
chef's assistant, as a food professional for the AIWF's Days of Taste Program,
at the U.S. Pastry Competition, at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's "Brooklyn Eats" Event, at the Union Square BID's "Harvest in the Square" event, and The Anna
Nurse Culinary Workshop Series.
Through City Tech's International Student Exchange Program, I was able to realize
a lifelong dream and travel to Europe for the first time to live and study in Paris,
France, for one month.
